About


Emann Al-Zahab is a Clinical Psychology Registrar and will soon to gain endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. Emann is a compassionate and highly skilled therapist with special interest in anxiety and depression issues, work related stress and relationship difficulties.


Emann has worked across many different settings in her time so far as a Psychologist including Employers Assistance Programs (EAP), private practice, in government forensic settings and mental health hospital settings helping clients presenting with a range of issues including depression, anxiety disorders, drug and alcohol related issues, relationship difficulties, work related stress and trauma.


Emann works with adult clients and is skilled in using a variety of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Schema Therapy and Group Therapy. She has interest in values based work and within the field of Positive Psychology, character and virtue development.


Emann is currently pursuing her PhD in religious philosophy. With her background in human development, Emann is passionate about helping clients live meaningfully and purposefully. Through her professional practice she believes in building a strong therapeutic alliance to help individuals attain their goals and fulfil their potential. In her spare time Emann enjoys aerobic fitness workouts, cross-country running, swimming, sand dune running and travelling.
